Stacked Traits

Trait stacks are combinations of multiple individual traits. Trait stacks can be made by using conventional plant breeding and by combining multiple traits in a molecular stack that is then inserted into a target crop’s genome. Arcadia’s deep portfolios of agronomic stress tolerance traits will deliver the most competitive yield products to growers to help them optimize their crop production in high stress environments.

Arcadia’s Solution

Arcadia has developed multiple molecular trait stacks incorporating Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE), Water Use Efficiency (WUE) and Salinity Tolerance (ST) and tested them in multiple crops over multiple seasons.

Arcadia believes that the development of crops with stacked traits will be key to addressing agricultural productivity and food security needs globally.
